Wonderful top storage..she kept her hats in there, & her millinery in the little drawers.

A Question We Often Hear

Why do we see crowns everywhere in Coronado?

Answer:
Coronado is Spanish for "the crowned one," and thus it is nicknamed The Crown City. It isn't the only reason we carry an array of crown related items. We just happen to love crowns!

Here are just a few styles of crowns and items imprinted with crowns you'll find at The Attic.

Vintage Infant of Prague Crown - sold
These are rare, but we do find them on occasion.

Large Zinc Crowns (currently out of stock, coming soon!)

Small Crowns that we embellish with rhinestones or seashells.
(currently all sold out)

One of a kind Fleur de Lis Crown- Sorry, I'm Sold

Reproduction Coronas with a wonderful brass patina & jewels.

Our very own: Vintage Coronado Windows (window shown has sold)

Reproduction Miniature Crowns make the perfect napkin ring

Reproduction Santos Crowns

Kitchen or Hand Towels -available in tea stain (shown) and white with gold crown

1950's Garden Chairs

LOVE the old green color and LOVE the pillows with the chairs!

Chairs $125 each (SOLD)
Pillows $69 each
Barkcloth Drapes $125/pr

Okay..I may be dating myself here, but let me just clarify that these chairs really ARE older than me. :) During the 60's, these chairs sat on the porch of a neighbor, so I am certain I sat in them on during play breaks while eating my favorite treat in the world. A Fudgesickle. :) Man oh man were those ever good on a hot summer day...and only 8 cents! There I go again....

Thought about keeping them, but reminded myself that I am a finder more than a keeper...you wouldn't believe that for a minute if you saw my garage. :(

I had some fun with the flowers...hee hee
We are selling these flowers by the dozen & these might be our last 2 teal.
Also available in black, ivory and taupe.
(badmitton racket & shadowbox sold)

Everything pictured is for sale (except the wire dress form) Just ring the shop if anything speaks to you and we would be happy to give you the particulars.

An Old Fashioned Fourth

A classic old porch swing holds our handmade patriotic pillows by Kandi. These are being snapped up, so if you want one, don't wait!

This vintage satin 50 star USA flag is soooo wonderful!
It is trimmed with gold fringe.

This vintage San Diego Navy Army Academy helmet came from a local Coronado estate of Aldred Laing. Mr. Laing was a long time Coronado resident with ties to the Hotel Del Laundry Service. He was also a building contractor who constructed many homes on the island.

How often do you see an unused packet of military stationery?
It has all of the sheets and envelopes tucked inside.
A very special find, indeed.

We have many more patriotic collectibles on display that are not shown, and all for sale.
*1974 dated Silverplated Tray from the Coronado Fourth of July Parade (SOLD)
* Regata Yacht Race Trophy Cups
*Framed 1930's Flag Print
*Late 1800's Framed Quilt Block
*1930's Wooden Flag Holder..we think!

I'm sure we have more that I failed to mention so stop by the shop. We'll be waiting with Lemonade and cookies!
