We returned from the LA Gift Show yesterday, to our beautiful city.

There really is no place like home.

We had a great time at the show and we're excited about the new items we have ordered for you! The merchandise won't be arriving for another 4-6 weeks, but we were able to pick up some "cash and carry" items to bring in right away. We have lots of jewelry, just in time for Valentine's Day. We also have some pretty Pashmina shawls in an array of colors, and a few great signs. This one is my favorite, rusty metal letters on a wonderful old piece of painted wood..love it!







I just had to take a photo of the this window display at the Gift Show, and this unusual round settee.

The Attic Girls will be hitting the road on Friday to attend the Los Angeles Gift Show on Friday and Saturday. This will be my second trip to the mart, so I think I will be better prepared this time around.

A New Year ...a New Look

The Attic Girls are looking forward to the New Year, and will be changing things up a bit! We will be adding a small collection of vintage clothing and also a collection of kitchen goods...a mix of vintage and new. This will all take place sometime later this month, and I will add a few photos to share with you. The L.A. Gift Mart is on our list of places to go this month, and with Cupid lurking around the corner, we are preparing for Valentine's Day! We should be setting up our Valentine's display around mid January, so come in a take a peek!

Here at The Attic, we have lots of great gifts that are priced under $15. Perfect for stocking stuffers, teacher and hostess gifts. Current best sellers are our hand poured soaps, candles, jewelry and wallets. We have also been selling loads of vintage Christmas ornaments! We have them in original boxes and individually packaged. The top 3 soap scents are Lemon Verbena, Mango Papaya and Passionate Kisses. The candles scents are divine, with Egg Nog Latte (my personal fave), Orange Cranberry and Seductive (orange, lemon and spices) We have the "Skinny" wallets in red and black tooled patent, both large and small card case styles. We are so excited to carry Lizzy B's line of handcrafted jewelry. I don't have any photos of it just yet, but it's been very popular. She has a line of earrings made from vintage chandelier crystals, typewriter key initial charm necklaces & bracelets, and necklaces made with vintage watches! The Open House continued....

Our 1st Christmas Open House

Last Friday, we celebrated our 1st Christmas Open House here at The Attic in Coronado. We used a vintage garden trellis with white lights at the entryway. We loved it so much, we decided to keep it up through the holidays! Our display windows got a quick makeover to make room for some new arrivals just days before the Open House. It was a busy day on the island, with a parade, lighting of the tree and the merchants open house until 9pm. We met many new friends that evening, and hope you will visit us again soon! Thank you to everyone who stopped by...especially Katie and Miss Olive, who is always the life of the party. :) I think she deserves a new bed from Santa..what do you say Mom?
