A Cloche Call

Calling all cloche lovers...

We are stocked with cloches in a variety of sizes, so if you've been wanting one..stop by! Cloches are perfect for showcasing that perfect little gem you might have. We love them covering coral, a special photograph, a bride & groom cake topper, a stack of tiny teacups, or a simple bunch of dried hydrangeas.

A base is not always necessary, but you can place them on a mirror, porcelain plate or even a simple clay planter drainer turned upside down.

Love this cloche with the pretty violets & vintage bunny.

Our largest cloche is 15" tall

A barnacle embellished with rhinestones, pearls and a mermaid rests under this cloche.
(Mermaid Barnacle sold)
I trapped a little fairy under this one..isn't she adorable?

This was a display of Christmas ornaments under a large cloche in my collection.
Do you have a favorite display under a cloche?

The Book Of Ornamental Alphabets

This wonderful treasure has sold~

Finding a treasure like this at an estate sale makes waking up early and standing in line, all worth it. This book is a true treasure, and so very rare. I always find it amazing that something like this can survive for nearly 100 years! This sixteenth edition has a printing date of 1914. I wish I could show you each and every page. There are 53 in all but here's a sampling for you to enjoy!

This will be listed on eBay beginning Sunday, April 3

Mermaids Spotted In Coronado

Yes...they have been spotted on the shelves of The Attic this month, and include handmade signs, vintage embellished bottles, cuffs and hand decorated shells. If you would like to purchase anything you see on our blog as a gift, we are happy to gift wrap and ship to anywhere in the USA.

Vintage bottles embellished with aged components and chain.
Each one is one-of-a-kind!

Kandi made the mermaid shell girls..love these.

Rita Reade is our California girl who makes our signs.

These cuffs by local artist Dyanna Cooley are amazing and we can hardly keep them in stock!

Trash to Treasure

These arched door frames were on their way to the dumpster. Thankfully, the person who was tossing them thought to ask us if we could use them! The purple had to go..new paint, pegs and stands were added. We think they are just perfect for displaying the hats and scarves!

Both stands combined hold a total of 16 hats and scarves on the bottom.

Happy Spring! Here's a recap of our Open House on Saturday.

The weather in Coronado was a bit overcast, but we still enjoyed the day and appreciate everyone who took the time to visit! In case you weren't able to make it, enjoy the pictures.
