Recycling Old Windows

Old windows are often tossed out when homeowners remodel, so it's always nice to find a new use for them...like this coat/hat rack. Pegs were added to hold your tote, dog leash or hat!
The addition of the 2 shelves are perfect for keys or a favorite collection. We also have a larger 6 pane window with pegs available which is not pictured.


These old frames were made from old redwood trim which came out of an old home in Coronado. They are quite large and hold 8 x 10 photos.

This last piece was not made by us, but by the uber talented Ms. Rita Reade! Is there no end to this girls talent and energy?!! She solders, paints, and she's a wood worker! She makes beautiful bird houses and these greenhouses from old windows! The roof was cut off in this photo, but take my word for it. This piece was awesome, although it's sold. The large wings above measure 2" long and with a long chunky chain.

The smaller version of wings measures 1" long and including the chain will drop 10 inches. Perfect for a matching mother-daughter set! Matching earrings are also available.

Our other style is a dramatic set of black wings with clear rhinestones and black chain. The drop is 16" including the 1 inch wings.

The Man Bench

Has Arrived!
It was time to spruce up the old bench in front of the shop, so we sent it off for face lift. We had it painted to match our awning. We love it...and so do the men. :)

Special Delivery From Rita

Look who came to visit us... none other than the sweet & talented, Rita Reade. Rita delivered our second order of signs to us last week, and we're practically sold out already! We have been keeping her very busy..as if she doesn't have enough to do :) Rita came with her son and sister in law, Christie Repasy. Christie took this photo and then the battery died or I would have taken another of us all.. :( They are selling this Sunday in Roseville at the Roseville Spring Antique Market. It was time...

... to dress the window again, and we think it turned out pretty darn cute!
(if you can get past that darn reflection of the street and cars in the window!)



We added an adorable antique twin bed,(sorry, bed has been sold) vanity and nightstand, along with a few of our favorite accent pieces. Makes me wish I had a little girl again!
