Feeling Fall-ish

Here's our latest arrival at the shop - 1940's oak dining set with 6 chairs. The window looks so Fall-ish....it's a nice change from summer white. Bring on the cooler weather! I have some sweaters to wear. :)

This table measures 52" long without the leaves and when opened, it adds another 30".

Keep Calm....

This has been a busy week at the shop and we've experienced a FIRST here at the shop...The furniture in both of our windows sold..a beautiful 4 piece bedroom set and a dining room table & chairs. Panic set it for a brief moment because we really weren't prepared to re do 2 windows at once, but we will have something in place in the next couple of days. As the old saying goes...Keep Calm and Carry On.

This gorgeous set from a local Coronado estate has found a new home this week, and it's staying right here in Coronado! Love that. I wish I had the picture of the bed and nightstand...simply to die for!

Hummingbird Bottles

We have a little craft box in the back office, filled with bits of old jewelry, bottles and seashells. I've been wanting to do something with some old bottles we have collected so here's what I came up with! I embellished a few bottles with aged brass hummingbirds,,,which I LOVE, vintage clip earrings, pearls and rhinestones.


I had so much fun with this one, that I couldn't stop at just one! So here's my second one. I like them both, but I think my first one is my favorite. :)

Did You Hear The News?

We were so happy to receive word today...The Attic placed 2nd in the Channel 10 News A-List contest for best antique shop! We were honored to be in the company of many great shops nominated this year...congrats to all! Thank you to all who voted, and remember to support your local indie shops. :)

Vintage bits and bobs partnered with vintage chains, are transformed into beautiful new creations by Cecilia, one of our favorite local artists.

This piece was a vintage clip earring and belt buckle in it's former life.

A pretty brass repouse locket on a gorgeous black bead chain..ready to hold your loved one's photo.


My favorite pieces of hers has to be her seashell embellished necklaces. The design is so intricate..just look at the number of teenie tiny shells she places on this piece!
